Jason Doran, General Manager Europe – Sales & Marketing at Print-Rite Europe said: “We are delighted to welcome Sue to the team. She will be responsible for our key UK channel partners for the Pelikan brand and for managing those relationships. Sue has over 20 years’ experience supporting channel partners including wholesalers, resellers, dealers and buying groups in the UK.” Simkiss added: “I am really looking forward to getting the brand out into the office products market, the reputation of the Pelikan brand is first class and offers the perfect solution based on price and quality against OEM products.” A decade in the cloud Atlas Cloud has further strengthened its board of directors and senior management team. The Newcastle-based company has appointed Mick Thompson as Non-Executive Director and Paul Butterworth as Head of Sales, as it marks its tenth year supporting businesses with leading cloud services. Butterworth joins with over 25 years of experience in senior sales and development roles at Microsoft, including two years as Director of Microsoft Azure Business Development. Thompson is renowned in the North East for his successful career at KPMG and in particular his 22 years as Senior Partner, managing Newcastle and the surrounding areas. His passion about the North East, financing and regional growth will support Atlas Cloud in strengthening relationships with its clients, staff and stakeholders. Data Direct announces new hire Chris Mills has joined Data Direct as Business Development Manager. Mills joins the company from Toshiba, where his most recent role has been supporting dealer business partners with account management, marketing and product management. Concannon brings with him over 20 years of experience in software engineering, working as CTO for several big data companies such as Edge by Ascential, ClavisInsight and LogEntries as well as within the cyber security space with Rapid7. During this time, he has gained extensive experience in scaling software businesses. In his new role at Cubic as a member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to CEO, Barry Napier, he will play a key role focussing on Cubic’s software product roadmap and innovative growth strategy. New appointment central to growth CENTIEL UK, has announced it is continuing to grow its service department with the appointment of Will Simmons as External Service Sales Engineer. Simmons will be responsible for continuing the expansion of CENTIEL’s service sales portfolio, focusing on delivering the best solution for its UK wide customer base.
