In a joint project, Curo and M-Files have designed a new, metadata-driven solution to manage documents, automate compliance and optimise business processes. About 20 document classes have been defined with automated metadata and access controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This metadata approach will also allow presenting content in context by relating documents to each other as well as to additional information such as tenants, properties or projects. The team will migrate data from their existing EMC solution, Documotive, which will be replaced. About 600 users will benefit from this modern approach to information management, having fast and intuitive access to over two million documents. Tom Battersby, Director of ICT at Curo Group said: “Managing large amounts of documents under strict compliance with regulatory controls is core to our business. M-Files impressed us with its rich out of the box functions. Also, the ease of integration and flexibility to meet our specific needs were very much appealing.” www.m-files.com OutSystems updates channel program OutSystems has launched an enhanced partner program, offering new benefits and expanded opportunities for channel partners and systems integrators who establish expertise in OutSystems and for ISVs and solution providers who build products with the OutSystems platform. The program accelerates customers’ speed of success, pace of adoption, and time to value via partner engagement. “We view our partners as a natural extension of the OutSystems team, and we know our customers trust them to be there for both strategy and execution,” said Peter Dunlap, VP of Channels and Alliances. “We are building a frictionless, highly rewarding relationship for our partners, helping them grow their business by creating differentiated value.” www.outsystems.com Charity achieves £200,000 annual efficiency saving Following a tender through the Crown Commercial Services RM3781 Framework, St. Andrew’s Healthcare, a specialist mental healthcare provider and registered charity, is benefiting from standardising on Konica Minolta’s print and document management infrastructure. The partnership has seen St. Andrew’s Healthcare realise £200,000 annual efficiency savings, achieved through a streamlined fleet of devices, improved print reporting, more efficient consumables management and reduced paper waste – that have been re-invested into front- line services. St. Andrew’s is also benefiting from enhanced security, with its formerly unpoliced print use being replaced with a ‘follow-me’ approach, whereby staff now use their security badge to connect to a device and print, scan or copy a document. www.konicaminolta.co.uk
