PRINTITRESELLER.UK 33 Bringing automation to the masses Executing on its vision of ‘a robot for every person’, enterprise RPA software company UiPath, has delivered an end-to-end hyperautomation platform. With new capabilities that support every phase of the automation lifecycle and deployment options that give organisations immediate management of their robots all from the UiPath Automation Cloud, UiPath is bringing automation to the masses; enabling employees to both engage in the automation process and benefit from working alongside robots every day. UiPath’s Platform for Hyperautomation is key to scaling automation across the enterprise with speed and efficiency. It addresses the end-to-end automation lifecycle by leveraging process discovery tools and employee crowdsourcing to determine what to automate. This enables more sophisticated automations with AI capabilities such as document understanding and provides sophisticated analytics to measure the business impact of automation. This pervasive ‘automation first’ approach is proven to be both substantial and transformative and is allowing everyone – from RPA developers and testers to citizen developers and business end-users – to collaborate and put automation squarely at the core of everyday work. With the UiPath Automation Cloud, the company is offering a new deployment option that enables rapid time to automation, easy scalability, high availability, and reduced IT infrastructure requirements – all with enterprise-class support. The SaaS model is in addition to UiPath’s on-premises, private and public cloud deployment options. www.uipath.com WHAT'S NEW Zoom certification The Poly Studio X30 and Poly Studio X50 video bars and the Poly G7500 video conferencing have received Zoom certification. The DCS-9500T combines thermal imaging technology with AI to identify if a person is experiencing elevated temperatures, and raises the alarm automatically should this be detected. Engineered specifically for monitoring large, busy areas – such as schools, factories, office buildings, airports or hospitals – the technology provides fast skin-surface temperature detection for up to 30 individuals simultaneously at a >0.3°C accuracy. The all-in-one fever screening device includes a high accuracy camera with a wide-angle thermal lens, as well as an uncooled IRFPA 400x300 microbolometer high-resolution thermal sensor, allowing for razor-sharp thermal imaging and precise results when identifying those with a temperature. Together with the Full HD optical imaging sensor, the camera can create exceptional high-quality footage that overlays both thermal and optical images into one. eu.dlink.com/uk/en Design and usability Panasonic says its next-generation KX-TPA70 and KX-TPA73 DECT handsets, for use with the Panasonic KX-TGP600 Base Station ecosystem, set a new benchmark in design and intuitive usability.
