How has lockdown been for you? If I’m honest, I have lost track of what day of the week it is, let along what time of day! The days, weeks and weekends are rolling into one. One saving grace has been the ability to keep in touch with family, friends and colleagues via platforms such as Teams and Zoom. It’s a well-known fact that I am absolutely not an early adopter and I can be a little tech-phobic! I do like to stick with what I know. However, despite having worked from home for many years, during lockdown where I haven’t been able to see people in person, socialise, have face to face meetings or attend events etc. I have found myself embracing the use of video calling technology to conduct interviews. It feels a little bit more like having some sort of human interaction, so for me I guess coming out of my comfort zone is one positive I will take away from this. At the time of writing the deadline to submit entries to the PrintIT Awards is looming and we’re thrilled that so many businesses are taking the time to enter. Plans for judging day which will take place virtually, are well underway and we are all very much looking forward to the inaugural event towards the end of the year.
