PRINTITRESELLER.UK 33 WHAT'S NEW Sharp boosts A3 and A4 mono line-up Sharp has added thirteen new MFP models with speeds ranging from 26 to 60 ppm to its range. The new line-up comprises two new additions to Sharp’s A4 mono portfolio and eleven to its A3 mono CR4.5 range. All devices offer a host of productivity functions, best-in-class security enhancements and the same powerful workflow features and user interface common across the Sharp range. Designed to suit a variety of office layouts and easily integrate with today’s connected workplace, the new MFPs enable simple and quick access to an expanded list of cloud services including Box and Dropbox. The inclusion of the very latest Adobe technology, the Adobe Embedded Print Engine (AEPER), gives users greater accuracy and performance when directly printing PDF files from network, cloud, or portable USB drives. In addition, Sharp’s Application Portal allows administrators to easily add new applications and update existing ones directly from the touchscreen on the machine. www.sharp.eu Konica Minolta expands bizhub i-Series Konica Minolta has expanded its bizhub i-Series range with the launch of three new colour A3 MFPs. The new bizhub C450i, bizhub C550i and bizhub C650i offering 45 ppm, 55 ppm or 65 ppm print speeds, are part of the next-generation multifunctional device portfolio designed to empower digital workflows. The three new devices boast the same exterior design with great usability features as the current bizhub i-Series models. The new card-type quick copy screen and various applications with integrated guidance allow for an even better user experience. In addition, newly developed widget technology allows embedding and operating functionality directly from the MFP’s home screen, shortening the time spent in front of the MFP and ensuring familiar use across all bizhub i-Series devices. Similarly, high performance operation and quick response is assured by the same powerful quad-core central processing unit and standard 8 GB of memory and 256 GB plus optional 1 TB solid state drive (SSD). The MFPs have also been designed to work with workflow tools such as Konica Minolta’s Dispatcher Suite, layered by security options through bizhub SECURE services. This allows for businesses to have effective print management and advanced document workflow, while enhancing document security. www.konicaminolta.co.uk Y Soft is cloud-ready Y Soft has announced a Cloud Guarantee Programme to ensure customers’ print infrastructure investment as they transition to the cloud.
