As an Executive Council Member, Pittick’s role is to represent the voice of the community, and to place a focus on the UK region as a world leader in technology innovation whilst finding ways to positively impact the industry. In line with the UK Channel Community’s mission, he is committed to identifying challenges and opportunities within the UK channel, and helping the community become more successful as a trusted space for sharing and learning. Xavier Heiss has been named Executive Vice President and President of EMEA Operations. He succeeds Hervé Tessler. Prior, he served as the controller of Xerox and Chief Financial Officer of the company’s Americas Operations and has held various leadership roles in sales, quality, business transformation and finance. Heiss also led the company’s European technology business finance organisation and shared services as Chief Financial Officer of Xerox Europe across 16 countries. He will report to John Visentin, Vice Chairman and CEO of Xerox. Tali Rosman has been hired as Vice President of Xerox’s 3D Business, reporting to Chief Technology Officer, Naresh Shanker. Rosman joins Xerox from NICE, where she was Vice President and Head of Business Operations for the Americas. Prior to NICE, she was Head of Product Strategy and Operations for Stratasys. Mary McHugh, who joined Xerox in June 2018 as Chief Delivery Officer, leading both the company’s global service delivery mission and the operations for the equipment and toner manufacturing sites has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Delivery and Supply Chain Officer. In her new role, she will report to President and Chief Operations Officer, Steve Bandrowczak. www.xerox.com Bitdefender hires regional sales director Bitdefender has named Quinton Watts as Regional Sales Director UK, Ireland, Nordics and Benelux. His appointment builds on the company's commitment to Europe and to channel development as it rapidly expands in the business-to-business market, leveraging opportunities created by the intense consolidation of the global industry in recent years. Watts has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales and brings the knowledge and ability to map out and oversee the strategies and teams needed to deliver rapid growth within the North European reseller market. In his new post, Connell will oversee the cybersecurity firm’s efforts to increase its transparency and trust in an increasingly fragmented society, continue to grow the company’s UK arm and oversee its global transparency work – as well as focusing on a number of key strategic priorities. Connell joins Kaspersky Lab after 15 years at Ingram Micro, where he was Vendor Director overseeing peripherals, components, volume networking and displays. He has over 20 years of experience within the industry, with stints at VIP Computers and Azlan, delivering consistent revenue and profit growth.
