The Poole-based firm is Brother’s oldest partner in the market and stocked the company’s first label solution, launched 31 years ago. It’s since sold thousands of devices from the vendor. The partners say they are now focused on capitalising on future growth in the market. The national framework created by NHS Shared Business Services will deliver a four-lot agreement that will provide public sector authorities with access to support and services for cloud-based solutions. www.softcat.com ASL’s service recognised ASL engineer Andrew Dale has been crowned UK champion at the Kyocera Service Awards 2019. The national final identifies the best technician in each country amongst the black belt service partners. Involving rigorous theory and practical tests, Dale is the second ASL representative to win the national finals in the last four years, along with Mark Aldridge who won the title in 2016. Del Clack and Tony Connor also made it to the national finals this year, finishing in 4th and 5th place. He will now compete to win the title of the EMEA Service Partner Technical Engineer of the Year at the European final.
