He brings a wealth of business expertise to a pivotal role that will reinforce and expand Star’s presence across the EMEA region. Lloyd will work with the EMEA sales team to strengthen and develop new partnerships with end-users, resellers and software partners. Having previously held senior positions at Tektronix and US Robotics, Lloyd has spent the last 18 years in various roles at Konica Minolta managing resellers, distributors and end-users. In his last role, he was on the main board as Sales Director for the reseller channel. https://star-emea.com Brother UK creates new role Brother UK has appointed a Sustainable Development Coordinator to a new full-time role supporting end-users that are working to reduce their environmental impact. Gemmer Crozier will work with channel partners and their customers to improve their knowledge of how Brother’s solutions and services can support a greener business, as well as raise awareness of its award-winning approach to sustainability. She takes-up the new post after originally joining Brother as an apprentice following her college studies. The position will also involve collaborating with Brother’s recycling facility in Ruabon, Wales, to encourage more of the company’s business customers to use and recycle Brother print cartridges. www.brother.co.uk CENTIEL announces new operations manager UPS manufacturer CENTIEL UK, has announced the appointment of Andrew Skelton as its new Operations Manager. Skelton will oversee the delivery and deployment of CENTIEL’s full range of UPS solutions for projects across the UK. Marzio Gobbato has been appointed Deputy Managing Director, reporting to Dennie Kawahara, who continues as Managing Director. Gobbato brings in-depth knowledge of the print industry to his new role, having held a series of senior positions within the print industry including Samsung and HP, across a wide variety of geographies, most recently Regional Vice President for OKI Europe’s South Region. Chiharu Asai, formerly Marketing Director, becomes Vice President Corporate Planning which includes general administration, business control, legal and compliance and HR management. Susumu Miura is appointed Vice President Operations and Special Projects, having previously been Vice President Corporate Planning. Koichiro (Ken) Fukano, previously Vice President, Operations for OKI Europe, is appointed Vice President Marketing and Supply Chain Management. Shu Watanabe is appointed Vice President Industry Print, from his previous role as Head of Wide Format Business Unit. He will serve on the Lexmark executive team, reporting directly to President and CEO Allen Waugerman, and is charged with building and leading a global new business development division responsible for leveraging growth opportunities for Lexmark beyond its core imaging business. This new division will broaden Lexmark's paths to market, focusing on sales channels not traditionally used in imaging. Cavanagh will leverage the cross-functional expertise of the imaging business and evaluate potential joint ventures and acquisition opportunities. Cavanagh comes to Lexmark from Eastman Kodak Company, where he served as Vice President and Chief Customer Officer in the intellectual property solutions division, focused on advanced materials and 3D printing. www.lexmark.com Second UK channel manager for Snom Snom has appointed a second channel manager for the UK and Ireland. Lee Fletcher will be the direct contact for distributors, carriers, ITSPs and partners in the UK and Ireland, working alongside Lee Underwood, who was appointed UK channel manager earlier this year. Fletcher has 15 years’ experience in the ICT sector, including spells at Lenovo and Yealink, where he was Business Channel Development Manager.
