The first official fundraising event in Midshire’s 2019 calendar, the Ramble saw participants climb 332 metres and walk 10 kilometres around the moorland plateau and National Nature Reserve in Derbyshire’s Peak District. With everyone making a small donation to take part, all proceeds were raised for the British Heart Foundation, Midshire’s partner charity for 2019. Previous initiatives for the BHF have included a ‘Red Breakfast’ event, raising over £1,200 at the Wilmslow Festive 10k, and the gruelling ‘Midshire on Tour’, a coast-to-coast-and-back 290-mile static bike ride, which raised £2,844. The next fundraiser will be an 18-hole golf day at Sale Golf Club on May 10 www.midshire.co.uk (l-r) Julian Broster, Director of Professional Services at Apogee Corporation receives Gold Partner Award from Giles Owen, Account Director, Objectif Lune
