The number of multifunction printers that Sharp sold increased by 22%, compared to sales in the same quarter of the previous year. IDC reported that Sharp’s value growth (turnover per unit) was 18%, within the top three manufacturers measured. Phil Sargeant, Program Director, Imaging and Hardcopy Devices and Document Solutions, European Region, IDC, said: “The data shows that Sharp gained in strength even while the overall market showed a slight decline.
