Security in-built The range has robust security standards with built-in features including IPsec support and access control that conforms to high-level security standards (IEEE 802.1x standards) and helps keep users’ networks protected. The printers’ intrusion detection capability means devices will automatically recognise attacks and take preventative measures to ensure systems are safe. The X-Series also offers secure document sharing via SFTP, with encryption and password protection for data transfer and safe printing via SSL encryption. An easy to use Secure Function Lock 2.0 feature means IT managers can restrict certain machine functionality and print capabilities to designated users if desired. For commercially-sensitive documents, the optional SecurePrint+ feature also delays printing until the job is released with an assigned, NFC-enabled card.
