Document capture capabilities accounted for 5% of the company's total fiscal year sales volume representing 15% of the total sales volume growth. The company's decision to be the first on the market to offer both software and support services as a subscription also had an impact. Fiscal year 2018 saw an increase of closed subscription sales contract volume of 400% over fiscal year 2017. Sales of YSoft SafeQ 6 overall had an impact as current customers upgraded to the new version and the total number of customers increased to 16,000 from 15,000. www.ysoft.com Zoom and Dropbox announce strategic partnership Zoom Video Communications, Inc. has formed a strategic, multi-phase partnership with collaboration platform Dropbox. The first stage involves the development of integrated workflows between the two solutions as well as a strategic financial investment by Dropbox in Zoom. The workflows will allow joint customers to seamlessly collaborate with the combined power of these solutions, extend Zoom’s functionality, and expose the video communications leader to hundreds of millions of Dropbox users. Subsequent phases of the partnership will involve deeper embedding of Zoom into the core Dropbox product and UI, as well as go-to-market programs. www.zoom.us NHS Trust engages Xerox Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has selected Xerox to digitise over a million paper- based patient records. With medical information directly accessible at the point of care, clinicians can now assess and treat patients more quickly and effectively. The five-year agreement for Xerox’s Health Records Automation (HRA) solution will convert the Trust’s paper-based records into electronic format, making all patient-related information available in the Trust’s electronic patient records system. This will enable better visibility into patient care history and improve patient safety.
