Two-thirds (62%) of Antalis office dealers admitted that giving clients a range of different paper options to choose from has had a positive impact on their business. One of the key reasons behind the trend, cited by more than a quarter (27%), is a growing appetite among customers for paper that provides greater colour capabilities. www.antalis.co.uk DCC Technology acquires Stampede DCC Technology has acquired Stampede, a leader in value-added ProAV distribution with offices in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia. By establishing a presence in North America, we will be strategically positioned to leverage all of the new opportunities we expect to develop as a result of this acquisition,” said Tim Griffin, Managing Director DCC Technology. www.stampedeglobal.com Premier supports charity for third consecutive year The Premier Paper Group has helped fund a UK project for the Friends of Chernobyl’s Children charity, which works to provide respite for children living in poverty-stricken Belarus following the after-effects of the 1986 nuclear disaster. For one month each year, the children are hosted by UK families and benefit from an action-packed activity programme based at an outdoor camping facility. Premier once again sponsored a four-day camping experience which was led by Tim Kirwin of Wilder Things UK, in conjunction with The Woodland Trust. Tech Data wins Distributor of the Year award Tech Data has received the 2018 Dell EMC UK Distributor of the Year award for achieving extraordinary results and demonstrating commitment. This marks the second year in succession that the distie has received the exclusive recognition. Partners could choose from a round of golf, on what is recognised as one of the best golf courses in England, or an afternoon of Clay Pigeon Shooting at Hertfordshire’s Premier Clay Shooting Ground. The 48 partners in attendance took part in fundraising competitions such as ‘Nearest the Pin’, ‘Longest Drive’, ‘Beat the Pro’ and ‘Best Shot’ for those participating in the Clay Pigeon Shooting. Guests enjoyed an afternoon BBQ, evening dinner and an awards presentation; recognising sales achievements for the last financial year.
