PRINT IT RESELLER.UK 7 BULLETIN Sharp new look for Sedulo Leeds Midshire has completed an installation of two Sharp BIG PADs at the ultra-modern, new Leeds-based office of chartered accountancy firm Sedulo. The two 65” Sharp BIG PADs offer crystal clear full-HD display, and the 10-point touch enables up to four users to brainstorm simultaneously, providing the perfect collaboration tool for meetings and presentations. PR & Events Manager at Sedulo, Zeriozha Burt-Skeete said: “Before investing in the Sharp BIG PADs we had to get everyone huddled around a laptop, or set up clunky projectors, which we found dull and immobile. Staff can now manipulate spreadsheets easily like using a tablet, and Sharp Pen Software lets us annotate directly onto our work just like a pen on paper which is fantastic, they’ve changed how we work and collaborate!” www.midshire.co.uk Siemens Financial Services’ top performers Managed print service provider Midshire, has been named one of Siemens Financial Services’ (SFS) Top Performers. The new business will be renamed M2 Managed Document Services and sit alongside M2, SCC’s existing specialist Managed Print Services (MPS) business. M2 was acquired in 2014 by SCC, and the convergence of MPS with IT services has seen continued double-digit growth following this acquisition. The purchase of Hobs On-Site enables the continued convergence, which many customers seek, in both print and document management and will also drive a paper to digital strategy for customers, including cloud-based solutions. Simon Kelly, Managing Director of Hobs On-Site, will transfer with the acquisition and continue to run the specialist business. The plan is to set a strong growth path, whilst introducing specialist services to both M2 and SCC’s substantial customer base. John Taylor, CEO of M2 said: “We are delighted to bring Hobs On-Site into the family. They provide a complementary set of services to both our production printing business within M2 and SCCs digital workplace offering. We clearly plan to replicate the growth and customer convergence of specialist services in print and document management, whilst continuing to add specialist services.” www.m2.uk.com
