PRINT IT RESELLER.UK 47 PRODUCTS Label printers help resellers tap into e-retail growth Brother UK has launched two new label printers – featuring quick print speeds at 110mm per second – to help resellers support retail businesses in improving efficiency and productivity, as e-commerce demand grows. The series, consisting of the QL-1100 and the QL-1110NWB models is designed to help busy workers to cut time and improve organisation when producing shipping labels. The four-inch print size, achieved with the new DK11247 and DK22246 rolls, means shipping labels comply with the size requirements for Royal Mail, FedEx and various online retailers, so users don’t need to spend time correcting incompliant labels. And a unique crop- print function that is compatible with Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA), helps sellers sending products to Amazon warehouses be more streamlined. They can also help users be more productive by keeping labels in the correct order of print. The QL-1110NWB model also supports flexible workforces with additional connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Wired Network and Bluetooth functionalities, including MiFi so labels can be created using smartphones, tablets, PC or Mac. Both models feature USB and USB host connectivity. www.brother.co.uk Now featuring wireless connectivity OKI has added wireless connectivity to the C332dn and MC363dn high definition colour A4 printers. The compact printers come with wireless connectivity as standard, making high quality in-house printing of a huge range of materials, from A6 to 1.3m banners, even simpler and faster. The C332dnw brings professional quality HD colour printing to the desktop for printing letters, reports and customer facing documents. Like the MC363dnw, it already enables mobile printing from smartphones or tablets, being Google Cloud Print 2.0 ready, as well as being compatible with AirPrint by Apple Inc. The MC363dnw A4 colour multifunction printer is packed with functionality that saves time and budget and maximises productivity. High definition colour printing for professional, in-house documents is combined with duplex printing, scanning, copying and fax functions. www.oki.com/uk/printing Lower running costs Kyocera Document Solutions has added three new economical devices to its TASKalfa collection, in order to help organisations save money while lessening their effects on the environment. The range includes one A4 colour TASKalfa 351ci multifunction printer and two A3 mono TASKalfa MFPs: the 3212i and 4012i. All three models have an increased speed and come with 1200 dpi colour quality as standard. An optional data security kit encrypts data as it is written to the hard disk and permanently deletes all data after a job is completed. The devices’ card authentication kit also enables secure serverless printing so that users have to login in order to print documents, helping organisations to meet current regulation. The new models offer mobile printing support including AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Kyocera Mobile Print and Mopria and are certified for use with iOS and Android devices, meaning users can print and scan straight from mobile. All three machines can be easily integrated into existing workflows and tailored to meet the specific needs of an organisation by using the company’s open software platform HyPAS. www.kyoceradocumentsolutions.co.uk Brother : QL-1100/QL-1110NWB
