Y Soft achieved the certification by closely working with the Mopria Alliance and developing a mobile integration gateway between Mopria Print Service and YSoft SafeQ 6 print server. The mobile integration gateway enables wireless printer discovery for any Android mobile device user including individual consumers or those within an enterprise. For the first time, Y Soft is making its technology – including pull printing, reporting and secure printing – available to all individual Android mobile device users by supporting the Mopria Print Service with the YSoft SafeQ print server. The L2000 launch follows a period of growth in the mono laser market, with the sector increasing 4.5% in January to September 2017, compared to the same period last year. It also cements Brother as the market leader in the mono laser category. The refreshed range, which replaces Brother’s existing best-selling L2000 series, is targeted at small and home office (SOHO) end-users, and provides straightforward, professional-quality printing at a competitive price. All of the new machines support collaborative and mobile working, with connectivity options including wired, wireless and direct USB connection, meaning users can print from different locations and a range of devices. www.brother.co.uk Integration for greater dealer efficiency Vantage clients are now benefiting from streamlined consumables ordering through Katun’s UK distribution partner, thanks to EDI integration between the Vantage Online service management system and Katun. Released as a cloud-based alternative to legacy software Service Accent, Vantage Online allows UK dealers to streamline the ordering process and reduce the number of clicks required to raise and process an order. Additionally, Katun’s UK based distribution partner can provide real-time stock levels; enabling dealers to manage customer expectations and offer time specific deliveries for those urgent calls. The EDI integration will also include order receipt, stock validation and dispatch confirmation. Another unique offering is the ability to provide proof of delivery directly from the courier into Vantage Online, reducing the need to use external websites for delivery and tracking purposes.
