PRINTITRESELLER.UK 27 WHAT’S NEW High volume A4 colour MFP Konica Minolta has boosted its A4 colour MFP range with the addition of the bizhub C4751i. The bizhub C4751i is part of Konica Minolta’s third-generation i-Series, offering a familiar, intuitive 10.1-inch touchscreen interface and seamless integration with Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Entra ID) and Google Workspace. This ensures secure, single sign-on access to cloud files and applications, helping teams stay connected and productive. The bizhub C4751i delivers high speed A4 printing at 47 ppm in colour and black and white, with fast scanning (57 ipm simplex, 114 ipm duplex) and a 100-sheet document feeder offering 1-pass scanning for further efficiency. There is an optional 3,100-sheet capacity paper cassette, and the different trays support up to five paper types, offering high volume flexibility. The device also includes advanced firmware and features such as Authentication Attack Detection to guard against unauthorised access. Optional BitDefender antivirus protection adds another layer of defence, helping prevent malware from spreading across networks. Sustainability is also built into every aspect of the bizhub C4751i. Manufactured in a Platinumrated facility under the RBA‑VAP (Responsible Business Alliance) programme, the device carries the German Blue Angel Mark for low energy consumption, reduced emissions and recyclable design. It uses Konica Minolta’s Simitri V toner, which fuses at lower temperatures to save energy, and is packaged using reusable air cushions to reduce waste. www.konicaminolta.co.uk AccurioLabel Prototype With digital label production expanding at record speed, Konica Minolta has revealed the first details of its new AccurioLabel Prototype, a system designed to push automation and productivity to new heights while addressing key industry challenges. Building on the proven success of the AccurioLabel 230, Konica Minolta’s Prototype is positioned as the ideal solution for midrange digital label production. It introduces an optional Intelligent Quality Optimiser (IQ) that simplifies workflows, enables longer print runs of up to 1,600 linear metres, and ensures colour registration accuracy even at full speed (23.4m/min). Print resolution has also been raised to 1200 x 2400 dpi, offering sharper, more vibrant output. www.konicaminolta.co.uk RFID functionality To meet the growing deployment of RAIN RFID technology, TSC Auto ID has expanded the capabilities of its TH Series 4-inch desktop label printers by building in RAIN (UHF Passive) RFID functionality as well as enhancing usability. Other new capabilities added to the TH Series to increase its usability and effectiveness include encode during print, this enhances printer throughput by encoding RFID labels directly rather than needing a separate encoding process; support for diverse labels including on-metal labels; and RFID auto-calibration which automatically configures the printer for accurate and optimal RFID encoding and printing. www.tscprinters.com Xerox returns to cut-sheet inkjet Xerox has introduced the Xerox IJP900 Inkjet Press, marking its return to the rapidly expanding mid-volume inkjet market with a powerful and cost-effective colour press.
