01732 759725 26 High resolution display Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe has added an ultra-fine pixel pitch module to its direct view LED (dvLED) FE3 Series, made possible by advanced Flip-Chip IMD technology. The new Sharp-branded module, featuring a pixel pitch of just 0.95mm, complements the existing 1.2mm, 1.5mm and 1.9mm options in the FE3 dvLED lineup. Designed for seamless, high resolution visual performance, FE3 Series modules are available in standard size bundles (104”, 110”, 135” and 165”) or can be customised to any size and shape according to application requirements. The new dvLED module features 4-in-1 Flip‑Chip Integrated Matrix device (IMD) technology with its finer 0.95mm pixel pitch enabling even higher resolutions, making the module particularly well-suited to closeviewing applications. Like the other modules in the Sharp FE3 Series, it delivers excellent colour reproduction across a wide viewing angle, ensuring consistently high quality viewing experiences. Energy efficiency and sustainability are central to the design of the third generation FE Series dvLED modules. While delivering the same brightness, highly efficient Flip-Chip IMD technology reduces energy consumption and heat output by up to 60% compared to standard IMD technology. The metal chassis not only supports efficient heat dissipation, extending the lifespan of the modules, but is also flameresistant, making the displays safe for use in public environments. Low heat emission and a flush rear profile allow the Sharp FE3 Series to be integrated very close to the wall, with front serviceable modules enabling easy maintenance. Whether wall-mounted or free-standing, the robust mechanical cabinet design ensures precise module alignment resulting in a seamless, single surface visual perception. www.sharpnecdisplays.eu Canon expands imageFORCE range Canon is expanding its imageFORCE range with the launch of eight new series of office printers. The enhanced module is a more rugged version of its standard cutter module and can be fitted to either the DA 210 or 220 devices, or the antimicrobial-coated DA 220/230HC printers used in healthcare environments. Cutter modules are designed to automatically size linerless labels as they’re being produced and TSC will offer its enhanced module alongside its standard cutter module and tear option. All TSC’s linerless printers have a lock sensor, upper blade protector and lower blade auto-ejection for safer and easier cleaning. They’re also fitted with platen rollers with special non-stick surfaces to reduce points of contact through the printing path, minimising adhesive residue on printheads and cutters, and preventing paper jams. https://emea.tscprinters.com
