There is so much more to print than the office or home printer than most people are familiar with, it has a direct effect on our daily lives – be it products we buy or use, or essential signage and packaging that makes everything else possible. There are more similarities with my drama training than you might think! It’s all about learning detailed information and presenting it in the right way, which is crucial in my new role too. I studied drama at university and had my sights on joining the acting profession, What’s the best bit of business advice you’ve been given? Don’t take things personally. In the sales and acting worlds some audiences are going to be more receptive than others. It is important to learn from the positive and negative experiences if you want to be successful. What would make your day job easier? A robot that could handle all my admin tasks for me. Which company do you most admire outside of our industry? Patagonia – I admire how they can be successful making great clothing products whilst having such a positive impact on the environment. What excites you most about the future? Seeing how things will change as technology develops, both within the industry and in the wider world. Early bird or night owl? Night owl. Favourite app, and why? Spotify, I couldn’t live without it.
