PRINTITRESELLER.UK 25 EVENTS Open to everyone The golf society is open to everyone – resellers, dealers, VARs, system integrators and vendors. There are two events still to play this year, the next one is at Walmley Golf Club on July 10 and the final outing will take place at the Pavenham Park Golf Club on September 18. It was a different story for Nearest the Pimms, that accolade went to Graeme Sutton, Managing Director at Sol Distribution. The Longest Drive award was won by Daniel Murphy, New Business Partner Sales Director at Ricoh; Daniel Hencher, UK Sales Manager at Enconvo scooped the Nearest the Pin in Two award and the prestigious Team Prize went to Team 2, comprising Daniel Murphy, Justin Blaine, Sales Director at NUSO and Brandon Malone, Account Manager at PEAC Finance, who earned an impressive 87 points. The overall winner on the day was Jonathan Sheridan, Managing Director at Converged Comms with 38 points. Congratulations to all the winners. Round two Round two on June 5 took place at Hearsall Golf Club in Coventry, this is a course we have played before and it’s always a good day. As is now the tradition, a few of us met up the night before for a couple of beers, a curry and loads of laughs. The following morning was not so good. It was pouring with rain, but that didn’t damp the mood of the players – even though it was wet, it was still warm. Despite the weather, the course was in excellent condition and the greens were quick, even when wet. So, a big shout-out to all of the staff that look after the course. Prize winners For the first time in over 20 years, no one hit the green, so the Nearest the Pin prize went unclaimed.
