PRINTITRESELLER.UK 39 Sauze d’Ouix is a fabulous resort. It’s really lively, has lots of great restaurants and the skiing is fantastic. It caters for everyone from absolute beginners right through to advanced skiers (hence the aforementioned thrill‑seekers who took it to the extreme and opted to use a helicopter rather than a chairlift to ski off-piste). The sun was out and the snow was exactly right and the group enjoyed two full days skiing, followed by apres-ski drinks sponsored by Adam Zoldan at Knight Corporate Finance. Everyone met for lunch each day and we organised dinner each night in a local restaurant. Overall, it was a really enjoyable few days and I’m already counting down the days until next year! If you would like to join us on the piste in 2026, please get in touch via email [email protected] to register your interest. On the piste EVENTS PrintIT Reseller and Technology Reseller magazines’ second ski club network event in the Italian ski resort of Sauze d’Ouix was a tremendous success. Ethan White reports The inaugural European networking event which took place late February 2024‑ went down a storm, so much so, places for this year’s trip were booked up whilst we were still there! And this year was no different, everybody wants to come back! I’m delighted to announce that plans for 2026 are well underway and we will announce the dates shortly. It was a cold and miserable morning on Monday March 3 when the group of intrepid skiers from 25 different companies met up at Gatwick airport for our early morning flight to Turin. Despite the weather and very early start, introductions were made and conversations started. For me, the biggest pull of this event is that it brings together people working in very different disciplines who might otherwise not have the opportunity to meet. Companies in attendance this year included Xerographic, Nuvem Solutions, Knight Corporate Finance, Henley Executive, Giacom, Tailor Made Technology, MDS Group and F One Technologies. Across the four days, whilst there was a lot of socialising, lots of laughs and some serious skiing (including the two daredevils who jumped out of a helicopter!), there were also plenty of lively discussions around business, opportunities to exchange ideas, and identify different and potentially new ways to work together. After arriving in resort and sorting out our ski hire, the Kingswood Media team organised a (what is now firmly established as legendary) quiz night, which was very kindly sponsored by Vorboss - thank you Lauren Knight. It was originally designed to be a casual fun-filled icebreaker event, but if the truth be known, everyone’s competitive streak was in full force! It was even worse than last year, everyone wanted to win and the evening soon descended into chaos! The funniest thing was that despite the competitiveness – the next morning no-one could remember which team actually won!
