The service will be chargeable per DCA and Silvester says it plans to push out the service across Europe as well. Other plans include further integrations. In December 2024 it announced a partnership with Epson that combines its print and fleet management software with Epson’s Remote Services (ERS) solution, all within the EKM Global Insight platform. By integrating ERS within its print and fleet management platform, EKM Global can provide dealers with a total view of their fleet performance, as well as manage and resolve service issues, before a call-out is required. The platform also includes an integration with Zebra label printers, e-automate (predominantly used in the US) and Evatic. The software is also fully integrated with PrintReleaf’s reforestation program. www.ekmglobal.com The company also recently completed the Managed Print Certified + Security accreditation from the MPSA, which is designed to qualify and differentiate organisations providing managed print services, either directly or with the assistance of a partner. Global growth Silvester reports that EKM Global is growing 30% year on year across the globe. “We are looking to increase our share all over the world, but particularly, I’d like to increase our share in the UK market. The UK is our home ground, and I’d love to expand more here. The UK is a very mature market; people have had software that they’ve been using for many years and they are less inclined to change.” Another key strength is EKM’s focus on supporting partners. Silvester continued: “Our goal is to make print and fleet management as simple and efficient as possible for our partners and we really pride ourselves on our customer support. The team and I have been in the business for a huge amount of time, we’re not just developing the software and selling it. We’re people that have worked in the industry and we understand the business and what our customers are looking for. We’ve got a huge raft of knowledge, and we are very responsive on our support. Our first response, on average, is around five minutes.” Security standards Security has always been a strong focus area for the company as Silvester explains: “We’ve always been compliant to practically all the security standards, all of our data is stored in Microsoft Azure which has in-built security, but although we’ve always been compliant, the company itself hasn’t been accredited. “We now have a security framework in place and I’m delighted to announce that we have achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification. We have held Cyber Essentials Plus for many years, we are a certified Microsoft partner and fully certified for HP Smart Device Services (SDS). We are also compliant with HIPAA and the GDPR, and currently working towards SOC 2 compliance,” he added. MPS
