The new scheme will extend typical contracted printer life cycles by up to three years to a maximum of eight, in turn supporting end-user and channel partner efforts to improve sustainability. Gareth Jay, Epson Europe said: “By extending the warranty period and providing an easy parts replacement programme where needed, we’re able to provide a ‘peace of mind’ solution to using products for a much longer period of time. By doing this, we can extend the replacement cycle and reduce the need to create new products and dispose of the old. “This is something we know our channel partners and end-users want – to be able to continue using working products rather than replacing them due to established process. By breaking this standard, we can help our partners address their own sustainability goals.” www.epson.co.uk Business intelligence Konica Minolta and Intuitive BI have announced that more than 200 organisations have been able to make service improvements and efficiency gains in print management through data-driven business intelligence.
