The Zyxel Nebula Starter Kit is designed to appeal to SMBs that want a simple Wi-Fi network set-up. It includes two NWA90AX wireless access points and a single, 8-port GS1915-8EP PoE switch for a price that is 15% lower than the combined cost of buying all three separately. More significantly for partners, all these devices come ready to use with Nebula – Zyxel’s cloud-based network monitoring and management service, which also has built-in security features. Rachel Rothwell, Senior Regional Director, UK and Ireland, at Zyxel said: “The Nebula Starter Kit is a great entrylevel set-up for an SMB and a great way for partners to kick-start their network management services. Most businesses won’t want to monitor the devices themselves and will be happy to pass that role over to the reseller partner. In our experience, once a partner has started offering Nebula, they don’t look back and are soon managing more customers though the platform.” Nebula gives MSPs the ability to monitor multiple customer networks and devices through a single pane of glass. It is easy to learn and Zyxel provides training for new partners that sign-up to take the solution to market. Zyxel recently launched an updated version of its MSP Partner Programme, designed to give partners additional capability and confidence required to start developing their own monitoring and managed services practice using the Nebula platform. It will be running a series of webinars for partners interested in joining over the next few months and making a full on-boarding and training programme available. The Zyxel Nebula Starter Kit is available to UK partners through authorised distributors. http://msp.zyxel.com/en/ Workflow efficiency and cost optimisation Epson extends SureColor MFP range Epson’s T-series range of smart multifunction (print, copy, scan) printers provides highly compact, secure workflow solutions without the need for bolt on additions that spoil the aesthetics of the device or add clutter to dynamic workspaces. Highly compact, with the same footprint as Epson’s SureColor single function printers, the latest SureColor MFPs are designed to provide a simplified scanning workflow that minimises the time spent printing and scanning. All printers feature a fully integrated CIS dual light scanner with RGB filters, which can not only identify and remove folds and creases from a scanned image, but also offer enhanced security through encrypted scanning to secure locations. The T5700DM and the T7700DM models feature a new red ink which is ideal for marking up CAD drawings and replicating shades of red for posters, advertising, and logos. This will make the new printers attractive to many markets, particularly independent AEC (Architects, Engineers, and CAD) users and large corporates, military, and education users, as well as new opportunities in poster production, copy shops and highly secure research and development businesses. A further new addition to the range is the SC-P8500DM, which includes a grey ink to broaden the colour gamut for high quality photo printing. This will give it appeal to a wide range of markets, from point-of-sale to local government, and it is particularly well-suited to GIS applications. With paper paths that are designed to protect the printhead, and other internal components, from moisture and particulates, the T5700DM, T7700DM and P8500DM deliver reliable print quality, while reducing maintenance requirements and TCO. The products are manufactured using at least 30% recycled materials and, as with all Epson SureColor models, operate with very low energy consumption. www.epson.eu Rachel Rothwell
