BULLETIN 01732 759725 8 Elevate yourself challenge A team of seventeen co-workers (pictured) from TD SYNNEX UK took part in a testing hike up Scafell Pike to raise awareness of the contribution made by women to the business and across the IT industry as a whole. The Elevate Yourself 2023 (EY23) Challenge was organised by the TD SYNNEX Elevate business resource group (BRG), which is dedicated to empowering women to thrive in their personal and professional lives. Co-workers from every part of the business were in the group that made the eight-hour trek up and back down the famous peak. Anyone in the business could apply to take part in the challenge and those making the climb included a number of individuals who have taken on the role of being an ally to women in the workplace. Alison Nixon, Director, Security, and Cochair of the UK&I Elevate panel, said: “The Elevate Challenge is all about encouraging and inspiring women to be positive and ambitious. It’s also helping us to build a community in which women and allies can support each other in progressing their careers. This year’s assignment was a really tough one and everyone who took part deserves the utmost praise and admiration. “We gave them a real mountain to climb, and they took it on with genuine enthusiasm. It took a lot of effort, teamwork, and dedication and in that regard, it was a great reflection of what we all try to do every day at TD SYNNEX and, we hope, an inspiration to all women in the IT industry.” Standing 978 meters above sea level, the iconic Scafell Pike is the highest point in England. https://uk.tdsynnex.com Strategic cybersecurity partnership Exclusive Networks together with its SaaS focused cybersecurity division Ignition Technology, have signed a strategic partnership with Mastercard to take its cyber and intelligence solutions to market across EMEA.
