Dyson wash and Blow dry

Hand dryers have long been ripe for the Dyson treatment. Power-hungry, unhygienic and spectacularly ineffective, they have been in need of a re-design for some time. So imagine Business Info’s joy when it plunged its wet hands into a Dyson Airblade at October’s Total Workplace Management Show and 10 seconds later found that they were completely dry. The Dyson Airblade is that rare thing: a hand dryer that actually works.
That it does so using 80% less energy than other hand dryers is even more remarkable. The Airbalde is hygienic too. Unlike conventional dryers, it doesn’t rely on evaporation to dry hands, but instead filters cool air, which is then forced at 400mph through a 0.3mm gap to create a sheet of air that wipes hands clean.
