Unified communications

There’s no doubt that unified communications and collaboration (UCC) is currently the hot topic in telecoms. So it’s not surprising that BT has just launched new UCC solutions for global enterprises that provide a single interface for messaging, conferencing, collaboration and telephony.
Based on solutions from partners such as Cisco and Microsoft, the services securely link voice, mobile and data services with the desktop, enabling users to take part in almost any form of communication, to anyone at any time.
BT’ has brought together disparate elements that would traditionally have been bought from different service providers i.e. IT and desktop applications, fixed network infrastructure and telephony, and mobile/cellular.
