Alcatel-Lucent has launched a complete suite of communications applications for mid-sized businesses with 100-500 employees. Designed to meet organisations’ changing requirements without the need for additional hardware, the Business integrated Communication Solution (BiCS) server incorporates OmniPCX Enterprise IP telephony; OmniTouch Contact Center standard edition; My Instant Communicator Unified Communications; XML APIs for simplified third-party application integration; OmniVista 4760 management; and hard disk mirroring. The all-in-one solution can be implemented on a ‘pay as you grow’ basis.
