The EIZO ColorEdge CG241W is designed for high-end graphics work including pre-press, digital photography, video editing and post-production. The 24.1-inch widescreen monitor offers both 12-bit hardware calibration and a 6ms grey-to-grey response time.
It has a native resolution of 1920 × 1200 (16:10 aspect ratio), allowing it to display images in 1920 × 1080 (16:9 aspect ratio) full high-definition with thin black borders at the top and bottom of the screen. The wide gamut LCD panel reproduces 92% of NTSC and 96% of the Adobe RGB colour. An interesting feature is the ability to simulate two types of colour vision deficiency - protanopia and deuteranopia - in real-time, so that designers can see how colour schemes will appear to those with colour blindness.
