Despite the efforts of MFP suppliers such as Infotec, awareness of the true cost of printing remains astonishingly low in most organisations. According to a survey by Lyra Research and Recharger Magazine (The Color of Opportunity:
The Lyra US Office Color Printing Survey), just 7% of US office workers are aware that colour prints cost four times as much as black and white ones: 15% of respondents thought that colour and black and white prints cost the same.
