Inkjets on the rebound

Are inkjet printers set for a comeback in the office? Recent health scares concerning office laser printers might make business buyers look again at inkjets, which have long been disparaged as slow and expensive.
In fact, new business inkjets like the HP OfficeJet Pro 7710 and Epson Stylus D120 are as good as or better than laser devices in almost every respect.
The D120 has a similar cost per page to a colour laser (just over 7p per colour page and about 1.2p for black prints), but it costs much less to buy (£69.99 inc VAT).
On top of that, it is faster than many lasers (up to 37ppm mono and 20ppm colour in draft mode) and it consumes less energy (just 15 watts when printing and 2 watts in sleep mode). Definitely one for the shortlist.
