Philips promote green message at Live Earth

After this weekends worldwide live earth concert, a clear message was sent out to all businesses in the UK to start thinking clearly about there green policy and their attitude to the environment.
Individual contributions are great but to start making a real impact businesses need to start making making changes at all levels.
Four key actions that businesses can immediately do on a daily basis to aid recycling are:
To use recycled paper
To use both sides of the paper
To turn electrical devices off at night or when not in use for longer periods at the mains switch
To refill and recycle consumables cartridges
Retailers and consumers are also starting to check products against efficiency ratings and products green credentials in a bid to save on packaging and other unessary waste.
